About Dr. Hinkes Print E-mail

Dr. Hinkes has been practicing Podiatry for nearly thirty years. He was in private practice for twenty-two years and has been with the Veterans Administration Hospital for eight years. He is currently the Chief of Podiatric Services, the Director of Podiatric Medical Education, and Chairman of the P.A.C.T. (Preservation Amputation Care and Treatment) Program for the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System hospitals in Nashville and Murfreesboro, Tennessee.


He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1976 at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio, and was a member of Phi Alpha Pi Professional Fraternity. He received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Loyola University of Chicago, January 1973. Dr. Hinkes completed his postgraduate work at Westchester General Hospital, Miami, FL.


Dr. Hinkes also holds several professional certifications and memberships:
